well, probably not the type of "relationship" answer you're looking for, but my aunt and i always had a rather interesting relationship. i never felt that she liked me too much, and my family and i always seemed to be somewhat of an annoyance to her when we would visit. there was never anything specific that i could relate it too...but i did see extra affection that she would show other family members, and i took that to heart. she died a couple years ago, and i still wonder what i had done to make her so distant. weird.

Yes, I was only 17 but it feels like it was yesterday. I really loved this girl and was under the delusion that we would be together forever. She said she felt the same way. One summer she had to go to her Dad's for two months and when she returned she tearfully broke it off. I was too much of a spineless dweeb to demand a reason back then, so I made it easy for her and left. She balled her eyes out so it was as if she didn't really want to break up with me. She was my first 'true love' and it was very painful for me for a couple of years. I still have a soft spot in my heart for her. Man I hate her Dad! I have a great wife and 3 crazy kids and I'm happy with how my life turned out.

Yes, there was a person who truly left that indelible mark on my soul. If I ever saw them again, I imagine I'd still feel deeply, but would never act upon it. Guess that's the difference between being 17 and 30!

now that i think about it...there was one, back in the summer before junior year of high school...the guy moved to florida (and i was living in cali) and just stopped talking...never fully ended things either...other than that all of my other past relationships have had closure of some sort...painful or not

No, got closurer to all of them just lucky i guess. Everyone of them we just drifted apart.
