  • I very much doubt it, I bet Her Majesty wishes that "That nice Mr Fawkes" had blown up the houses of parliment, it would have made things better for all of us :-)
  • From what I've seen, it seems your queen got very lil sense of humor. As for treacle, that sounds like something that drips from the attic or oozes up from the drains, which we call sewers and into which we flush old chips. Toffee is somethin toffs eat. Now mebbee she'd like some fresh baked bisquits smothered in molasses . And old scones can go down the drains too. Didn't they already have a bon fire at the palace? .Granted there was no guy there, and it prolly cost a pretty penny to extinguish. And fireworks would terrify those goofy short legged dogs she is so enamored of. I had a heck of a time getting Google to accept 'black peas.' Kept tryin to tell me about black EYED peas, which I awready knew all about. Pigeon peas? C'mon, the queen eats bird food? And the Yankees try to claim black eye peas is cattle food.
  • Of course she does, my birthday is worth celebrating :) Also see What is Guy Fawkes Day? http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/14344
