The last time I used that word was about 31 years ago in high school.
-
Regularly - at least once a fortnight - well probably more often than that - depends on how often I am arranging to meet someone.

It's in common use in English English (at least the kind that is used by my friends and acquaintances).
-
The last time was the twelfth of never.
-

-
Gosh... I guess I use it every couple of weeks or so... Hope this helps.
-
Since I get paid every fortnight and pay rent every fortnight, I gues I use it every fortnight.
-
Being English I use it all the time. Was talking to an American friend, and was astonished to discover she had never heard it.
-
lol. if someone didnt know what fortnight meant then good luck to them to know enlighten! not that often i prefer to mention things in weeks or use a date rather than fortnight.
-
