If you run up ahead of your team mates and kicked the ball in the goal..it would not count because you were offside,but if you run up with your team mates and they passed the ball to you and you kicked it in..then the goal would count.

It's called a drop kick, it has to hit the ground before you kick it to be ruled a field goal, you drop it in front of you and the minute it hits the ground you kick it.. It was used often in the pre-40's....I heard one college team did it a few years ago...
