Saliva. Just kidding. I add whatever I want. I never follow the recipe exactly. I ALWAYS use salt and pepper.

I'm told I cook very well. I don't often follow a recipe exactly; I like to vary a seasoning or ingredient or two. I don't measure exactly when cooking; I use the eyeball it/taste it method. When I'm baking though, I do measure precisely. The exact amounts and proportions are critical to the types of chemical reactions that happen during baking. I don't have any secrets though. I freely share recipes, tips and tricks that I've learned along the way. I love to cook, and hope to always keep learning more!

There is only one dessert recipe that I do not share with anyone. I freely tell people how to do things. I give out my recipes. But they don't turn out for others as well as mine because they don't like to follow directions. They feel they already know how to do it and all they want to know is the ingredients. Well, most of cooking is actually techniques and methods. And with baking measuring is a must, exact measuring for some things as it is very much science as well as art. So, if someone wants to learn technique and method I do teach people but most think it's just what I put in and not what I do. If cooking was that easy everyone would be a great cook.

I always give the right ingredients to my recipes to my friends. But if someone asks whom I don't particularly like I will leave out one important ingredient. Naughty huh?

Nope. I like sharing them with others. (atleast the ones that dont explode)

My trick is to not always follow the recipe to the T. I like to add my own dash of this, spoonful of that- it usually turns out pretty well. But if someone asks for the recipe, I give them the basic how-to, so my cooking is still mine.
