Not me, really. Very many celebrations are for religious reasons.

In my personal experience they are. I see nothing wrong in that, anything that brings the family together is welcomed by me.

I see nothing wrong in that. I don't think people should NEED and "excuse" to get together in the first place.

Yep . I think most celebrations are a reason for the families to gettogether cause it feels very good when everyone's together ....and when the families are far away it is a reason for the friends to be together ...celebrating things all alone is no fun at all :-)
