I think she's really funny. Her humour may come off as racy, but she is using it to make fun of racism and other offensive things.

She's like a cute and sometimes funny next door neighbor who has tourette's syndrome.

I saw her perform at Pamela Anderson's Roast. She went too far in my opinion and started talking about her bf Jimmy Kimmel's genitals and how they smelt; which had nothing to do with Pam. I also thought she was really mean at the VMA"S when she said the Britney's kids were mistakes.

Its kinda cheap humor to me, like its being praised is hilarious by simply trivializing something serious which really isn't funny in the end.

I've laughed at her before, but not very often.

Though funny at times, she's kind of a one-trick pony. That is, her whole routine is based upon trying to be shocking or performing poop-and-fart songs. Whereas most comics give us a glimpse as to who they are as a person, Silverman is always making up stories and telling BS, so you never see who she really is.
