Roosevelt's NEW DEAL was promised to the American people as he accepted his nomination as a candidate for President. It was based on the assumption that the power of the federal government was needed to get the country out of the depression, the first days of Roosevelt's administration saw the passage of banking reform laws, emergency relief programs, work relief programs, and agricultural programs...wow, he made a promise and followed through...what a concept. He ordered the capture and slavery of Japanese people living in America during the second World War, much like the Nazi concentration camps only difference is that the Japanese camps were running even 3 years after the War ended. Don't need to give me negative points if you haven't done your research!
