I have a lab/pitbull mix who loves to catch and torture mice.

Usually the terriers are great for that. My brother has a Cairn terrier that will absolutely chase down anything smaller than himself. Cats, mice, birds, lizards. many terrier breeds were designed and used for rodent removal.

the dachshund. They are really good barn dogs also.

my weimaraner does a good job with the rats around here... not your typical vermin catcher but she loves to hunt

Minuature Schnauzers are Very good mousers!!

Miniature Pinschers. They were first bred to hunt rats. Mine are constantly coming back to the house after being out in the yard with mice!

I have Rat Terriers. They should be good at it but my old dog ignores rodents! The pup is showing signs of possibly doing what he is bred for. My Australian Shepard mixes were very good mousers.
