I think it is more acceptable. But usually men don't need any kind of toy if they have functional hands. I do think a woman buying a sex toy is more common and more accepted than a man buying, say, a fake vagina. Our culture accepts men's masturbation more easily but women's sex toys - or so it seems to me.

yes it is more acceptable. Some guys also have toys. The current stereotype does not let many men admit it
