Opinions are free, which is why everyone has one. Of course someone can tell you your opinion is wrong ~ that's their opinion. This reminds me of a t-shirt I saw, "I'm not stubborn, I just know I'm right!"

lol. mouthful. dictionary.com STATES OPINION: 1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty. So neither of yall are really "correct". it's YOUR opinion and that's theirs. A fact is a different story. Then you would have to set proof
-
No one can say your OPINION is wrong - because it is just that: an opinion. Every one is entitled to have their own and everyone can have a different opinion. They can argue if your answer/reply is fact or fiction but your opinion shall always be right to you.
-
You are right - if you are comparing opinions to opinions, you are both "right" in your own mind. Neither is more "right" than the other; you just disagree. However, if one of you brings in logic or references from authorities about the subject, facts should trump opinions.
-
Opinions are like backsides, everyone has one. And I don't like the smell of any of 'em!
-
People can say whatever they choose, particularly where opinions are sought. That doesn't make their opinions right, or yours wrong, just different.
-
Opinions are not always based on facts. People don't have to prove their opinions to anyone. But their opinions have little validity until they can give you some proof that what they are saying is correct.
-
Self-opinionated people think that their opinion is right, at least thet's MY opinion.lol. :o)

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and should be able to express freely what their opinion is. A person who is strong in that which they believe does not need to rip apart what others believe to make their own opinion appear better. A person that will bash your opinion without documentation of fact has a weak opinion and can only be heard by ripping apart the one he/she is bashing. the question remains do they have a right and the answer is not a simple one. It depends on how far they are willing to go with their bashing. They are not allowed to threaten you with pain if you do not comply. If it is just arguing and nothing more then i say they have a right as do you to defend if you feel it is needed. But keep in mind that if your opinion is strong it should be able to stand on its own merit and you have the right to walk away from someone making an ass out of themselves.

That would be correct if I read all that right:)
