Why do Apostolics make Hell sound worse than it is, or at least worse than other denominations make it sound?

I don't know how Apostolics make Hell sound, but I don't know how any person or group could make Hell sound as bad as it is. For the record, almost the entire Biblical doctrine on Hell comes out of the mouth of Christ Himself. He's the original Fire & Brimstone preacher. And brother, does He preach it! Paul, by contrast says almost nothing of Hell. Niether do Peter, James, Jude, or the author of Hebrews. And John says nothing except in the last chapters of the Revelation.

Hell is just that, hell... how much worse does it have to sound... But if you want to compair denominations, you should be pointing fingers at the RCC, not Apostolics, for all the horrendous descriptions of hell. At least MOST of the Apostolics I have heard speak on Hell do so with a Biblical reference.

hell is a place where the worm dieth not... who would even want to go there? i don't care who makes it sound worse as long as i'm not going to be their to see it...

because hell is horrible! other religions don't understand the extremeity of Hell. Hell is Hell. and it will be horrible and the only way to not go is to obey Acts 2:38. That's the truth. The ONLY way to HEAVEN. you can't just believe b/c the bible says that the DeVILS beleive and tremble. and they're not going to heaven. so there's so much more. But the apostolics didn't just make it up. it's written in God's handbook. the bible.

gathering tactics...scare it into them...Jesus taught the Kingdom ,as with the Samaritan woman, not that u would die forever IF u did not COME>. HE wants us to come WILLINGLY for LIFE,not because we are scared to DEATH...codemning others to hell if they don't is also Judging ,therefore ,these teachers condemn themselves.... Jesus did tell of eternal death..for those who didn't follow and eternal torment for those who prophesied and taught wrongly....the Kingdom was HIS message....as should be a believers...)JUSTME

the wages of sin is DEATH, eternal death....that death will be of fire....thrown into a lake of fire to DIE ..that's the HELL of it...but we definitely know when we die which side we will be waiting for Judgement on ..and thats another HELL of the Plan..... can't get much worse than that....but others scare tactics are just scarier then some others...instead of gently bringing those to HIM, like HE did, they use the fire and brimstone scare to scare them into baptism, which is the wrong reasons for joining HIM...:)justme

I am Apostolic Pentecostal, and I have a question about this question....How can you make Hell sound worse than it is???? Hell is going to be bad; there are no words to describe it accurately enough. An eternal flame, lake of fire, burning at you continuously, and for eternally, and your flesh will not even be burned up. Just a continuous suffering!!! That sounds pretty bad to me. I wouldl truly like to meet someone who could make hell sound worse than it really is.....
