A great little island, I like it very much, very English :-) The people are very friendly, the food great and its nice and hot :-) I haven't been for a couple of years, I must go back :-)

It's beautiful there! I went with a bunch of students in 2004. Apparently it's very popular for European students to go there to study English. They speak English, but they also speak Maltese.

It's a small island nation in the Mediterranean (Europe) and consists of three very small islands: Malta (main island), Gozo and Comino. The islands cover a mere 300 or so square km and host around 400,000 inhabitants. Languages spoken mostly are Maltese and English (official languages) and also Italian. The population is predominantly Roman-Catholic and this religion makes up an important part of daily life in Malta, despite following a global decline in actual participation.
