  • They should think about how they would feel if it is them or a loved one that needs the helicopter .
  • I would understand the concern that it would be a problem for them, especially waking up babies all the time. However, there is a greater good that takes precedense(sp?). Helipad is a 'go' in my book.
  • They should think of it this way. Every time these people have to go through the "agony" of noise for a couple of minutes, a life is saved.
  • I think they should realise that the noise is NOT going to go away (like my SOB rap-playing neigbor) and buy a GOOD (as in 'rated for 29 decibels') set of soft earplugs at Walgreens (about four bucks with tax) and enjoy the peace and quiet that will ensue. : )
  • They'll eventually get used to the noise and will appreciate the value of life-flight once more people are saved.
