If I provide a litter box, will a kitten that was raised outside with little human contact, use it? Is there anything I might have to do to make that happen?

My children and I adopted a wild housecat. He had never been in a house and was nearly half grown. He didn't know what the litterbox was! I asked my son to pee just a drip in the litter. The poor cat nearly knocked my son over trying to get into the box to pee! That one little drip was enough to let the cat know what the litterbox was for. He turned out to be the most amazing cat I have ever had. I would adopt a feral cat again if I didn't have too many dogs! 2 of them, but they have the energy of 4.

Put cat poop oopsies in the litter box, eliminate accident odors IMMEDIATELY. If kitty smells himself in the box, he will go there.
