Service Light Reset Tools If you can't find your car listed below, check out our range of Service Light Reset tools WARNING: Resetting your service light is not a remedy for servicing your vehicle. Only perform these procedures after an oil change/vehicle service and obey your manufacturer's suggested service intervals. Procedures are available for the following manufacturers/models: Manufacturer Years Models Audi All A4 and A6 BMW 2001 onwards All Ford All Galaxy Vauxhall 1999 onwards All Volkswagen See models With digital odometer Volvo 1998-2001 S / V / C70 Models S80 Models (1998) S80 Models (1999-2000) XC 70 Models (2001) Audi A4 & A6 (All years) Turn off the ignition Press and hold the button on the left side of the display while turning the ignition on Service OIL will be displayed Pull out the button on the right side of the display until the service prompt is cleared The display should now read --- If the above procedure does not work, outlined below is an alternative procedure: With the ignition off, push the right button Turn the ignition on and then pull the left button This should clear the warning message Return to top of page BMW 2001 to current Ignition Off (Position 0) Press and Hold the trip odometer button while turning key to position 1 (ACCESSORY) Keep the button depressed (about 5 secs.) until you see "Oil Service" or "Inspection" with "Reset" or "Re" in the display* Press the button again and hold for approx. 5 secs. until "Reset" or "Re" flashes While the display is flashing, briefly press the button again to reset the Service Interval. After the display has shown the new interval you should see "END SIA" for about 2 seconds Note: that if the "Reset" or "Re" does not flash, then you have not met the minimum consumption level and cannot reset *Note: On vehicles with "High" cluster, you will also see the amount of fuel (in litres) remaining until next service Return to top of page Ford Galaxy With the ignition off, press the reset button under the mileage counter Hold in reset button whilst turning the ignition on After about 4 or 5 seconds (up to 30 seconds in some cases) the display should reset itself Release the button and turn the ignition off It may be necessary to repeat this process Return to top of page Vauxhall 1999 onwards Turn Ignition Off Hold Trip Reset In Turn Ignition On Still Holding Trip Reset wait for three dashes Turn off Ignition Turn on Ignition to confirm Return to top of page
