  • Yes. Some users have shown me how great people are, and others have only reinforced (or made worse) my notions on how miserable they are.
  • Yes and I am afraid it is not for the better. That to me is very sad because I had only really thought of ABers even those I did not agree with, as people of integrity. To discover that somebody you like is less than ethical is very depressing
  • Yes it has hapened. Some have let me see how nice, friendly and understanding people can be to others!! While some have made me see there are some with very sad lives out there that only want to make others as sad as they are!!
  • You Nelson. You've shown me that there are some really good people out there in the world who really do care and that is the greatest learning I have ever experienced to know that there are such solid, whole, compassionate and overall good people in the world. I look up to you and the excellent way that you lead your life. Nelson, you are a light to many in the darkness of despair and those who truly need help. You are a model citizen. That's how I choose to answer this question.
  • No. Ab has made me more informed on the whole but there is no single person
  • No, nor do books or movies or television..but listening more and finding out more about other people's point of view helps greatly in understanding why they feel as they do...there are some people who regularly change what they think based on who got to them last, or what book they just read..that would not be me. :)
  • RosieGHM changed my perspective on something family related the other day and I am so thankful to her for that.
  • They've caused me to revisit certain beliefs. To come to the conclusion that AB is a microcosm of the world I live in, therefore only serves to reinforce my perspective on issues, both positive and negative.
  • ****Missunderstood question. Answer deleted****
  • Yes, but it has been in subtle ways mostly.
  • Maybe not changed, but two people here specifically really give me things to seriously ponder when I read their messages, or when they comment back to me, Zenmonk and Philosopher Saint. Also, SomeGuy, I don't always agree with his points when I read his messages, but he has this way of really making you think about what he's saying. So I picked out and named people, but it's all good. :) Haven't changed my perspectives completely, but have been offered different ways to look at things, which helps to not become closed minded with one's own convictions.
