  • 50 + and she still ask me to shave or go for a trim.she's always my mother.
  • I swear like a trooper and my mum doesn't care. She swears pretty bad herself when she's in a mood.
  • My mom has given up on my language. My wife was given that as a nickname by her grandfather when she was about 4 or 5 years old. She says that it was the first thing she learned how to spell. Her mom gave up on the language also.
  • I got in trouble once when I was 18. Stayed out until 5 a.m. and she was there to greet me...She was furious...She got back at me by waking me up at 8:00 that morning...
  • When I was very young, my mother, a church-going Southern baptist, would get angry with me and my sister and call us piss-ants. I got used to it and it was pretty meaningless. later on, I learned that the term is regularly applied to the tiny ants that peacefully co-exist in homes, mostly in the Southern US. It was not considered shocking to little old ladies who discussed having them exterminated, and called them by that name, lacking scientific nomenclature. But it is important to respect your parents and abide by their wishes, whether you are still under their roof or not, unless you have hard reasons to do otherwise, which is always unfortunate. I'm 60 now, but most of my life I was in trouble with my mother. She loved me anyway. I miss her.
