    1. Don't plagiarize. Acknowledge all of your sources

    2. Check and double check for grammar and data accuracy

    2. Make sure you use proper quotations in academic writing paper.

This is a pretty vague question, but I'd say:
    .
    1) Be sure to check spelling and grammar, but don't use too many fancy words just to sound smart.
    .
    2) Make sure all of your citations are written in the proper format, and that they are all reputable sources.

    here are four:

For God's sake use citations - site your source - let the proof reader tell you when it is not necessary to site - if in doubt, include it

have someone edit it for technical accuracy - edit it - have someone else edit it for technical accuracy - edit it

have someone read it for grammatical accuracy - edit it - have someone else read it - edit it

have a layperson read it for understanding - granted, depending on the subject matter they might not "get it" , but that is the best way to make sure you are getting your point across - if you can explain it to your mother, you can explain it to your mentor

    1. Always cite your sources (plagiarism is a no-no in any academic documents)

    2. Don't be satisfied with the first draft. The key here is to write and re-write until you get the desired output.

    1. Don't! It's illegal and very unfair to the people who spent years to earn such a document.
    2. Get the documents by getting an academic education.
