    Trent Reznor indeed had a brief appearance in a movie - 1987's drama, Light of Day. Joan Jett and Michael J. Foxx starred in this film. Trent can be seen playing keyboards for the band called "The Problems".
    Rumor has it that Trent Reznor was a member of The Exotic Birds, who contributed a song to the movie's soundtrack.
