  • Yes, it's called polyandry. There are cultures within India and Africa that do this. There are also open relationships where a woman will have more than one partner. Polyamorous females DO exist, though many tend to be bisexual.

  • Yes, there are cases of polyandry (the opposite of polygamy). It's fairly rare and has most typically occurred in some of the Himalayan cultures, some areas of Mongolia, some Indian cultures (both Asian and American), and in some places in sub-Saharan Africa. There are other cultures that have practiced it though. There are two types of polyandry that have been noted, by the way --- fraternal and non-fraternal. In fraternal polyandry one or more brothers share a single wife. This practice is usually found in Tibet and Nepal. The term non-fraternal polyandry speaks for itself. ;)
