I'd rather watch Benny Hill.

Everybody has to make a buck. The most I can tolerate of televangelism is about two minutes, and they have to be talking about something else other than sending in money. Dr. Eugene Scott from Stanford is what the rest should all be like, in my opinion. He teaches real scripture and doctrine without soliciting, and his information is intense. His daughter is following in his footsteps, regarding his message and methods. Apart from these two, I say scrap the bunch. On the other hand, the rest are obviously giving some people some degree of sought-after comfort and however delusional it may be, there is something to be said for that. Everything the pack promises, however, my Church actually delivers, so I have no need to risk wasting any time with charlatans.

Als long as we stress the key word "like" above, I'd say they're the lowest of the low (except for Satan himself), to be numbered and punished with those in the 8th circle of Hell. Hinn himself is 2nd-rate charlatan and an arch-heretic, preaching a false Christ and a false Gospel that lead many people to destruction - both the simpletons who believe him, and the simpletons who reject and mock Christianity because of him. As for the like of Swaggert and (prior to his shocking but genuine repentance and conversion) Bakker, the disgrace their pulpits. As Dennis Miller once announced from the SNL News Desk: "Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Supreme Being reports Him as saying, 'I don't know these people. I have no dealings with them. And I wish they'd stop using My Name." There are, however, many godly preachers with regular programs on TV and radio - but these are the ones with actual Church ministries, and are merely broadcasting their regular sermons, financed by their own parishoners. Their television and radio ministries are usually a financial drain: the donations they get from their TV and radio audiences almost never cover the whole cost of buying the air time. Preachers in this category are John MacArthur Jr., R. C. Sproul, Paul Washer, John Piper, Aleister Begg, and many others. While I may not always agree with them, nor they with eachother, they are certainly attempting to be faithful stewards of the Word of God, and are clearly not in it for the money.

I think my blunt answer would be moderated, but suffice it to say I think that they are mentally unstable con artists.

benny Hinn is not a Chrstian minsiter- he is a low life show man.

It angers me as they know all the teachings and yet go another way and teach people the wrong things for their own benefit , whether it be money or fame. Then these people follow the crap too. It becomes a big cirle. If i was handed a gun right now and Benny Hinn and Todd Bentley and many others were standing in front of me, I would have no problem using it. I'm not a christian but I cannot stand false teachings and I think that these men/women are worse than murderers.

Manipulative sociopaths in it for the money. They're a vestige to everything I loathe about religious folk. Also why I don't own a TV any more.
