The Biblical account doesn't tell us how Lot and his daughters reacted to their mother turning into salt. So, any answer that one would give to this question would be pure speculation.
-
I'm sure they were pretty freaked out.

Well, Lot did not give a man on the street interview with Action news, but I suspect he was a little sad. Considering that he did love his wife, and saw her disobey God many times, and finally judgement executed on her, he was definately not gonna throw a party for his new found single status. Also considering he threw on a wine drunk, so drunk that he did not know that he was having sex with his daughters, yep, he sure was not happy. His daughters thought they were the last people on earth, certainly a cause for sorrow.
-
His daughters got him drunk and had sex with him.
-
This is not recorded in the scriptures.
-
They used the salt to season their beans
-
Lot and his daughters were haulin ass out of there and Lot's wife was supposed to be be doin the same.
-
They never noticed. To see her as a statue they would have had to look back and they obviously did not (or they would have become pillars of salt too). So how did the narrator of the bible know ? God knows. I guess God told him.
-
Bible does not say.
-
They were busy running for their lives.

I would imagine sadnesss, disappointment and perhaps even anger at the mother for not listening or even at God for the loss of their wife/mother. As would any other person.
