  • The only problem with this is that as with any genetic testing, you have to realize that symptoms don't begin until you are significantly older but if you test postive, you will be presymptomatically and prematurely labeliing yourself with this diagnosis making it difficult to get different insurances, go into the military, get certain jobs, etc. When you have all your things in order and have thought about it and if you desire to have children, then it may be wise to make that decision. But it's not a test to rush into doing.
