  • sometimes it is better to tell a white lie... for example.. 2 years ago my best friend was killed in a road acciden. He had split up from his father some years previous and the man was at the funeral and virtually inconsolable. I went to him and managed to talk to him and told him that his son had often talked of the good times they had together before they had split up and that he had been planning to send him a card on his birthday to start contact again... the father changed completely from being inconsolable to being a proud father again. I felt good for making him feel good and also because if the tables had been reversed then my friend would have done the same thing for me. That father is now at home remembering a son who was going to get in touch andsee him - not a son who ignored him. OK it might be wrong in some peoples eyses but I an 100 % happy with what I did

  • Well, a lie is a lie. It doesn´t matter the purpose of it. It isn´t that I don´t care, but I prefer to tell a tearful truth that an innocent lie. It is my opinion, but there you go.
