I am going for a hip xray tomorrow... What can I expect?

Most likely a longish wait in a waiting room followed by someone taking an xray of your hip. You lay on the table in a couple positions and they snap the "pics". no biggie.

To get pictures taken of your hip bones

Not gonna be a big deal. You may have to put on a gown to make sure there is nothing in the way of getting a good image. May have some pads put under you to keep you at the angle they want for the xrays. No big deal, should be over within 10 minutes at most!

Maybe some worn cartilage and possible bone degeneration if you're creeping into the senior years.
