I'm a twin and whenever Adler's birth order was discussed in my psychology courses (I took psychology in highschool as well as general psychology and developmental psychology in college), twindom was left out. I'm a fraternal twin (female) and my twin brother is similar to me in many ways, but different in others. Though we fought a lot as children, I feel very protective of my brother. Being a twin is part of my identity. (When it comes down to it, I don't know how I'd cope if he died.)
