  • Funny! + 3
  • But he is the man to beat, right? HAHA
  • Don't care what he is. I like him.
  • I generally don't like to answer questions that name names. But, in this case, I want to know the real name of this user. I'm definitely going with the old user/new account. Oh, it's a sockpuppet alright. S/he knows way too much and has given several clues that s/he has been here way longer than the four days claimed. Email me if you think you know who this really is.
  • The TROLL with the smiley face avatar seems to be a very nice person
  • G'day Nevets, Thank you for your question. I don't know and I don't care. I've had no problems with him or her. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time that an Answerbagger has changed his or her identity and it won't be the last. Regards
  • I share Keithold's attitude that it isn't my concern. However, I do have an opinion on whether or not he is new. When he asked a question about whether, and why, he should be afraid of Stableboy I answered by saying that SB would probably work out his original AB identity.
  • I have no idea. I never thought about if The Troll was an old member or not. He/she does seem like an old member, but I am not sure who it could be. I guess I have to look more at their answers to get some idea.
  • The thought had occurred to me but I do not know and do not care. He is always pleasant, works hard and seems to have settled in like a reguler. I prefer to know who people are but when it comes down to it, except for very few people we become close to,we are all just names and avatars. As long as he is not doing anyone any harm or deliberately causing problems ,it does not really matter if it is somebody using a different account as long as it is not for nefarious reasons
  • In either case, it is someone who wanted to be noticed right away and stand out from the crowd. :)
  • Yes, upon further review. This new user "The Troll" seems very savvy for a new user.
  • I am not his biggest fan. I don't care if he is new or old. I think he stinks.
  • He *said* he wasn't an old user, so I'll have to take him at his word.
  • I don't know, I never pay attention to these things although I did noticed he went up from level seventeen to twenty-two in less than twenty-four hours. I haven't read any of his input on here as being rude or mean to anyone. I like him/her and think he/she is ok.
  • I was under that impression, yeah.
  • Never thought about it. If it is, they had me fooled.
  • I think it's a previous user, just using a new account. Fine by me either way.
  • It could be a new user, one who looked around before venturing forth. I did much the same before I got the courage or gumption to post though I did learn a lot from actually doing. But I do my research before I jump in. Then again, it could be a sockpuppet or a new account. I've noticed that some people want a clean new start and that's fine with me. People do what they need to do fopr all sorts of reasons. The Troll seems well-behaved, concise, intelligent, not just a kid with hormones raging and lots of goofy questions. He/she gives good answers and asks some good questions. I seem The Troll as being more of an asset to the AB community right now so why all the ruckus as to who it could be? What difference does it make one way or another. It's not the first time we've had a sockpuppet, it wouldn't be the last. I just enjoy the trip here on AB with people that I enjoy or find interesting. The Troll does both.
