  • no offense meant, but if I went to Heaven after being Hindu all my life and expecting to be re-incarnated, my first thought and words would be..OH Shit!
  • I am a Hindu. Whether a person believes in reincarnation and heaven, or not, a Hindu would still be happy to practice Hinduism. In fact, many youths of present day are questioning about reincarnation and heaven. But they are not qestioning about the sanctity of Hindu Dharma. All other countries have mono-theism. Hinduism is poly-theism. All rivers finally reach one ocean. In the same way, worship of any god will finally reach Almighty. In India, we are free to choose a god of our liking. This is what it keeps our individuality and spiritual freedom . We make our religion our way of life, and live a very lively life. It shows the unity in diversity among Indians. We all feel that we are part of one Hindu Dharma.
  • Going to heaven or hell has zero to do with any religion. Just because one reincarnates, does not mean that he dies and just gets immediately reborn. There is a way station for all souls, so your question makes no sense. There would be no Hindu religion if there was no reincarnation because the whole religion is based on that premise. Hindus have a belief in the after life just like Christians.
