I cannot say I have had a problem :) I use a shaped lapdesk with a fan in it when i use my laptop. I am also lacking in the equipment department in which the problem could be found. Personally I have never heard of it but I am female.

Only if you try to have sex with it still on your lap. I've used laptops for years and Jr. is still "strong like bull". I don't see why that would affect some males and not others but I guess you never know. I don't know about the sperm count thing, but, I've never...had them counted.

There is some concern that cell-phones can cause problems, so I wonder if laptops also have a bad affect on the body.

I am not sure about sexual problems but... if you are watching porn on that laptop and your penis is aroused and hammering the laptop from beneath. The only disadvantage is that your laptop won't remain flat on your lap, it may tilt and fall.

On a male perhaps because of the heat being let off by the laptop being close to the testicles.

If he's hot to trot and you are not, The laptop over that heavenly spot. If he likes it or not, Will put a damper on his hots.
