I cannot say I have had a problem :)
I use a shaped lapdesk with a fan in it when i use my laptop.
I am also lacking in the equipment department in which the problem could be found.
Personally I have never heard of it but I am female.

I am not sure about sexual problems but...
if you are watching porn on that laptop and your penis is aroused and hammering the laptop from beneath.
The only disadvantage is that your laptop won't remain flat on your lap, it may tilt and fall.

I've used laptops for years and Jr. is still "strong like bull". I don't see why that would affect some males and not others but I guess you never know.
I don't know about the sperm count thing, but, I've never...had them counted.
