  • This has be going on for years - decades in the entire region. Have you read NOT ON OUR WATCH: THE MISSION TO END GENOCIDE IN DARFUR AND BEYOND by Don Cheadle and John Prendergast excellent book with good suggestions if you really want to help just bringing up the subject on AB may spark an interest Good luck to you.
  • I have been part of the Save Darfur campaign - for ages. Sign up here: http://www.savedarfur.org
  • Yes, something certainly does need to be done. I'd say it's roughly comparable to the Holocaust which instigated WWII, and I'm sure that if you asked people the world over if WWII was a justified war, I'm sure that the vast majority of them would say yes withiout question. And intervening in Darfur wouldn't start a conflict of nearly the scale or severity of WWII. The main differences between the factional conflict in the Middle East, which the U.S. government (Self-professed "Leader of the World") has dedicated itself to stopping, and the factional conflict in Darfur are that A)No orginisation based in Darfur has ever attacked the U.S. B)Darfur doesn't contain one of the world's largest reserves of crude oil. But then again, no orginisation based in *Iraq* has ever been proven to have attacked the U.S., and since when has profit been a morally acceptible reason to start a war? Something should absolutely be done about the situation in Darfur. But I don't think it will be until enough people in the U.S. know and care about it to stir up a sizeable outrage. Thank you for asking this question, it's efforts like this that help add to that number.
  • Not news to me. Tis a wonder many blacks foresake traditional religion and adopt Islam under yet another deception.
  • "Islam".. it is the religion of peace. After you kill all those who oppose.. lol.
  • This is very sad indeed. People are so ignorant; a person do not choose their race, they are born into it. There is nothing anyone can do about being the colour they are.
