Because the US administration is filled with complete bastards.

Incendiary devices MAY have certain legitimate anti-materiel uses, though use on CIVILIAN targets was/is NEVER warranted and is banned by the CCW. Additionally, they cannot be used where there is a reasonable expectation of causing collateral damage to civilians. However there is no ban on the use of incendiary weapons (including Napalm) against purely military targets. Furthermore, the denial may be accurate as not all incendiary bombs use napalm. "Did you drop napalm on X?" "No." "Then why is X on fire?" "Well, it's not because of napalm!" Sure, call it semantics if you are so inclined, but it is TECHNICALLY true.

the U.S. is not the only one to use incendiary material in Iraq...very many devices made by Iraq's insurgents contain highly flammable material to inflict maximum damage ...on their own people ...women and kids in market places...at least if the U.S. did use them it was against military targets and not innocent people doing nothing more than shopping for food

you said "just that your question made it out to be that the U.S. were the only ones who have used it in Iraq and thats very far from the truth ." so, who else is using it apart from the US? And like I said, tear gas can only be used on your own citizens-otherwise it breaches the Geneva convention.Minor violations are still violations.

Hey, we're the US. It's what we do.

I think it was a good answer. Why does the US do bad things? Because the government is full of bad people.Taht seems like a very clear answer.
