  • I'd go with resting, A LOT!!! :) And make sure you're not stressed so you can get better soon.
  • Holy crap. Thats a lot of infection all at once. That sucks. Go with some rest. Tylenol, or Tylenol Cold and Sinus can be helpful, especially if you get the drowsy stuff, it will help you get sleep.
  • Maybe a little bit of Vicks Vap-O-Rub would be nice under your nostrils or on your chest? Lots of hot tea with lemon and honey should help too, you need to stay hydrated. Try to get some yogurt into you during the anti-biotic treatment. You don't want to get diarrhea or a vaginal infection because it will kill all bacteria, the good and the bad.
  • Oh, how awful! I had a bad ear infection recently and a fellow bagger told me to put rice in a sock, then put that in another sock and tie them all tight. Put in the microwave for about 30 seconds and hold it on your ear. It really helped! Was much better than a heating pad.
  • I've always found that regular Tylenol does NOTHING for me. Try some Excedrin or some of that Tylenol blue liquid cold and sinus stuff.
  • check out candida online
  • Did the doctor give yo uan inhaler for your bronchitis? Check with your primary care physician, he/she may give you one to ease your chest discomfort. Comtrex deep chest cold works effectively. It should help with your sinus infection and your bronchitis. It has Tylenol in it, so you can't take any more while taking the Comtrex. Take ibuprofen (like Aleve) instead. You can take 800mg (usually four tablets, but check the packaging) safely. It is prescription dosage. As for your ears, try putting a few drops of olive oil in your ears. Sometimes this helps ease the pressure.... AND REST UP!! I hope you feel better, sounds like a rough week.
  • To all of the above you can also add a saline nasal spray, and you can steam yourself too. Add some Vicks or menthol to a cup of boiling water place on the table infront of you and put a towle over your head and inhale the steamy air...helps to clear the sinus and I have always found that sinus causes half the pain. Be careful of the cup of boiling water don't spill in on yourself and add burns to our current crisis. Keep up the fluids and Vitamin C and also heat bags on your forehead and nose also help relieve the pain of a blocked and infected sinus. And vaseline around your nose - because if it is runny or becomes so you are going to have a sore one (I have been through this about 3 weeks ago), the vaseline helps stop it from becoming inflamed.
  • There are some great pieces of advice here. Let me summarise: 1)heat (either wheat packs and/or vicks/Tiger Balm etc) 2)sinus relief (nasal spray-can be homemade of salt and water-steam inhalation) 3)hot drinks and ye olde chicken soupe 4) get thee to bed and wallow in thy pain. if tylenol doesn't help, try another pain reliever in the same family
  • sounds like you survived your self medication prescription
  • I dunno why, but sex clears my sinuses, but since I cant have that I settle for flonase
