Yes! Just the word itself is silly (the dogs can be lovely AND silly). It sounds like a childrens toy or game from childhood. I feel like I can remember a commercial with kids singing about the new Labradoodle "It's this thing, it's that thing, It's something else that rhymes with noodle. It's labradoodle!" (New, from Keleco). The other one that is silly is Schnoodle (Schanuazer Poodle).
