  • Not to say you shouldn't necessarily, but just remember that tattoo removal is a lot bigger industry than tattooing is, and when thinking about what/where to get one, think about how it'll look when you're 60 as well as 16. Some parts wrinkle more than others.
  • The only time anyone should get a tattoo of anything is if they want to live with it for the rest of their life. If you don't have a lyric that you feel that strongly about - do not have it tattooed on your body.
  • You should really think about the tattoo and what it will represent, don't just get something because its all the rage or because its "in", think about it long and hard.
  • "You cannot sedate all the things you hate."
  • The thing about having words tattooed on your body they do not always stay to the point where you can read them. The skin wrinkles and in some cases tighten to where you cannot read them. So unless you are going to put the lyrics on your back in huge letters I would reconsider it.
  • "I am a child of God", from the hymn of that title. It ain't rock, but it's not offensive and it won't embarrass you as you mature. At 16, you shouldn't go for shock value because you have no good judgment or taste at that age, and your enthusiasm to be "special" and "awesome" will make you do stupid things, including obnoxious tattoos. If you absolutely have to do this thing, try not to ink something that you will regret until you have to have it removed to get a non-burger-flipping job or marry someone decent.
  • The problem with using a song lyric is you have to make sure years from now you'll still feel the same way about it. Watch this video for some ideas to avoid. Some language involved in the video.
  • how about: "SATAN SATAN SATAN!", eh?
  • amazing idea. I'm planning on doing the same across the bottom of my neck, I'm either getting "When your life is oh so dreary... dream" by the smashing pumpkins or "It's more medicine than music" which is something I read on the Elliott Smith Memorial wall.
  • How about something from "Changes"by David Bowie?
