  • Um...Restless Leg Syndrome? From WebMD: People with RLS have strange sensations in their legs (and sometimes arms) and an irresistible urge to move their legs to relieve the sensations. The sensations are difficult to describe: they are not painful, but an uncomfortable, "itchy," "pins and needles," or "creepy crawly" feeling deep in the legs. The sensations are usually worse at rest, especially when lying in bed. The sensations lead to walking discomfort, sleep deprivation, and stress.
  • my aunt also suffers from RLS (restless leg syndrome) especially at night in bed. Try putting your feet in cold water for as long as you can bear, this seems to give her temporary relief at least.
  • I used to get this problem. It's like an elecric build up in the leg which travels down the leg causing a weired feeling. Then the leg just switches. Very annoying if you are just about to fall asleep! I stopped drinking strong coffee in the evening and it went away.
  • If it's bad enough to bother you or keep you awake at night (or wake you up) try talking to a doctor about it. If it's not that bad, try taking some multi-vitamins, or at least iron and lay off the caffeine!
