  • As long as they have a female Chief of Staff.
  • Bad idea. You got elected already when you became a parent. No need to vote, just do your job.
  • I think it's great - as long as it is somewhat limited. I'm assuming that there are kids in the house as well. With that in mind, I think there are some things you can use democracy (vacation decisions, dinner decisions, etc.). But there are other things where it has no place (decisions about things that the kids can and can't do, etc.). Letting kids be a part of decsion making can be a very good experience for them.
  • BAd. If you want to have a democracy with the people who are paying the bills, fine. People living for free, whether it is kids or whoever have no say in the operation of the house. We live in a Monarchy in my house, and the King Cobra reigns with an iron fist!
  • We all get to vote at my house and then we do what the ruler says. I like to think that is me but you probably know better.
  • impossible, democracy can't exist in a home in my opinion.
  • I was brought up with democracy in the home.We used to have weekly meeting and each were required to stand up and give a speech. Our family learned a lot from this and get along with each other to this day.My father thought that we should all have a say in what goes on in the home.He wasn't a tyrant.
