I honestly don't think I would think much about it either way. My only question is what part of the world does the person live in. Where I live, any sweatshirt would be way too hot in August. Maybe the person just REALLY loves Santa.

I used to work for a company that hired LOTS of manual laborers. The nasty kinda work that most Americans wouldn't do. So the majority of the work force were immigrants: Non English speaking, manual laboring, first generation Americans who are still sending money back home. Lots of them dressed "oddly", wearing festive holiday sweaters and shirts and skirts and such well past the appropriate season. I was curious so i asked the social worker who placed them with us what was up. Most of them get EVERYTHING they own from Goodwill or Salvation Army or similar... and the Festive Finery is what America donates. Kinda a weird statement on the American mentality, no?
