I prefer answers that have enough detail to give the answer a bit of character. A flat yes or no just gives cursory input to a black or white type question. If you care about what you contribute then it is worth a few extra minutes to fully explain your answer rather than just reporting. If it is a factual question I also would feel cheated if the user didn't cite a source that they used in order to answer the question. True I don't want to read a whole pageful of information all the time but to me, it says that the individual took the time to actually provide a well thought out answer:)

A nugget of wisdom is worth more than a load of manure. Some folks need fewer words than others to express themselves. Brevity is the soul of wit. As per personal questions, the complexity of such questions make any answer incomplete, no matter its length.
-
I like short answers..only because i am at work and get a bit rushed!
-
I prefer enough text to explain the answer, whether it be short, long, or in between.
-
no...i like most of them.. i don't always answer them.. but i like to make fun of the grammar and the ridiculousness of them all. :)
-
No. Only the long questions unless it is asked by someone I like or have had interesting interactions with.
-
No. I think they often include interesting and helpful information. Someone took time to care about the answer they were giving rather than just barely answering to try to get points. I appreciate it when people take time to think and give good answers. However, if it is long just because they copy and pasted something from another site, I will likely just skim over it rather than read it.
-
yeah some times i skip them..lolz
-
No. I read all of them and I really appreciate that someone took the time to write out such a thoughtful response.
-
Naw, longer answers, yes
-
No I extend the questions, only cause you can have a really complex answer at times. Not like I think I'm answering the question as you expected,as a matter of fact no one invited me to your ab conversations.
-
depends. Yes and no. After the 3rd paragraph or so I lose interest in it. I can't stand for people to copy and paste 10 pages of things off the internet..you get a lost of this with "spiritual" answers. I am not spiritual but even if I was, i wouldn't read it. When I ask a question, If you can't answer it without copying and pasting 10 pages of internet stuff or giving me 1000 facts..don't answer it.. I will NOT read it.
-
Nope
-
depends on my mood
-
Only if they're also badly written. If they're long with bad grammar, etc, yes.
-
zzzzzzz... WHA-?! OH! uh - no! If you can stick with them, you'll usually find they're pretty interesting and mid-boggling- although there are one or two people that flood the place with mind-boggling cr♥p!! Be nice - read and enjoy! ;) x
