  • I used to make something called "super guac" -- I'd take a whole ripe avocado, and add sprouted sunflower seeds, flax seeds, cilantro, celery, parsley and lemon juice and grind it into a spread that I could put on bread. The world is your oyster with this recipe, as it mostly just guacamole, but adding sprouted seeds turns it into a protein rich food. If you skip the avocado and lemon, you have something with the consistency of liver pate -- adding onion will give this more bite -- and adding a little sweet beet will even give it the liver color.
