From a fountain or a bottle I prefer Coke over Pepsi, but from a can I prefer Pepsi over Coke. I have no idea why. Ideas?

The can itself can change the flavor of the beverage inside. This happened a lot before DR Pepper changed the cans that they use in the bottling process.

Sometimes, the fountain Coke is better than a Pepsi, because the syrup-carbonated water ratio is stronger. In the can, the opposite is true for Pepsi. Fountain drinks can vary by taste, from business to business. it all depends on how the ratio is set. Jack N The Box, i think, has the best fountain drinks. its strong on taste and strong on carbonation.

I have no idea either. But I do know that I like Pepsi better than Coke in general, BUT, in a glass bottle, Coke is superior. WEIRD, no?
