My first boyfriend. He bought me the single because he liked it(I hasten to add this was a number of years after it was originally released!). It sort of set the tone for our relationship, ie all about what he liked! Still, I was young, I moved on, it's water under the bridge.

As a SF Giants fan I think about the one year they used her song as a theme sogn for the new ballpark downtown. I just remember the commercials with the song playing all the time.

I love that song! I always crank it up when I hear it. It's rare that they play it these days. I feel happy and I sing along. It brings back early memories. I wasn't very old when it came out. It was probably in the late 60's when it first really came on my radar. I tend to associate it with the early 70's, even though it came out in 1965. It's a great song, IMO.
