The way I see it, it doesn't take much to make your house more energy efficient, so why not give it a shot? It does save a few pennies here and there on your hydro bill too.

Oh I definitely do. We recently replaced one of our air conditioners with a new energy efficient model and our electric for the month was $0!!! We couldn't believe it. We have our electric bill set up on monthly averaging. We can't wait to see what our next bill is going to be. And that's just one change we made. We also have switched to mostly fluorescent bulbs. When the incandescent burn out, we replace them with the fluorescent. We also recently had our house painted. The painters went through 60 tubes of caulk. I'm sure that has helped as well.

Absolutely. We opted for the whole package from our electricity provider. Our electric bills went from outrageous to affordable. Be sure to include the ground cover and insulate underneath the flooring. keeps the floors warm. Also, insulate the water pipes. hot water, instantly.

Yes, I'd like to be able to laugh in the face of the big oil companies! While I'm at it, I'd like an H2O powered hydrogen car!
