I couldn't tell you the exact issue, but I remember having a lot of Archie comics when I was a kid. I also had some Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Batman, Superman...a bunch of super hero comics. Lord only knows what happened to them. When I was in college, I started collecting some comics again for a while...I had a friend who was a comic artist and he even published a few. He got me interested in them again. I should probably dig those out (along with all the baseball cards I still have) and sell some of them! might help me pay down some bills! LOL!

Iron Man #90 -- where he faces down the Controller, who had been putting his control discs on the foreheads of homeless people (back when it was still acceptable to call them "bums" and "winos") to siphon their mental energy and increase his power...

It was a Wonder Woman comic book.

My dad got a big box of them from a yard sale or something, so my first comic book(s) were lots of Archie, Casper, DuckTales, Little Lulu, Little Dot, etc. :)

Uncle Scrooge; I was getting comics before I can remember, but the oldest ones I own that I didn't buy later as back issues were Galdstone comics- that's the American company that used to do Disney comics. Donald Duck was another favorite, although when The Real Ghostbusters and Thundercats had their own comics, I ate those up very fast!
-
It was either some bugs bunny comic book or it was the simpons comic, I don't remember what came first
-
The day I bought my first comic book, I actually bought two. Amzing Spider-man titled "Requiem" and an Uncanny X-men titled "How Sharper Than A Serpent's Tooth ..." Proteus was the antagonist. Since then I bought about 30,000 more and didn't stop until New Year's Eve 1999. Quit cold turkey. Had to. Couldn't afford to collect anymore. (Just had our second child).
