  • thats the best place to find them.. check your nearest cow pasture but make sure you know what youre picking before you start eating everything in sight.

  • They do grow in the wild, and are more abundant in areas with mild winters, where it rains as apposed to snow.Where I live they are all over the countryside.
  • around my area they grow quite well in the paddocks that the cow's are in ...we call them "gold tops" and yes they have a yellow type of colour ...taste like sh*t , we cook them in a pan with butter and a few bits and pieces and have them on toast ...still not the best tasting thing you'll ever eat ...BUT you must and I do mean MUST make sure what they are ...or you die ! and thats no joke
  • Yeah... but they're fickle fungi... so growing them is a lot easier... and more fun!
  • Not if the field has been used 4 agriculture. Best bet is to find a site that has been untouched for years like an abbey or common land or land high up that will not of been touched by farmers!!. The grass has to look right as well eg. medium height with tufts, but I have seen them growing on football pitches and also parks but these usually get sprayed yearly. If you do not know what you are picking then DON`T GO PICKING as there are so many species that grow with others and these KILL!!!!
  • help me out
  • In the UK there is only one type of magic mushroom (well apart from that fly agaric that they have as seats for elves in fairy tales - that stuff is very nasty and makes you throw up for an hour before you have a trip and nearlly allways gives you an unpleasant trip). The other type in britain is the notorius ''liberty caps.'' These are common from late August until Mid October-Early Novemember (depending on how early the wintry weather sets in). You find them after a few days of heavy rainfall and are found more in upland areas and only grow in grass and never on dung. Grass verges close to trees or next to paths in sheided areas are the most common places. You need to identify them correctly as there are some poisonous types that look similar. Trips are not allways nice though. They are a bit like dreams but you are awake, its like a very deep daydream. You do not have as much control over where the trip leads as you think you might have. It just depends on the mood you are in and the people you are with.
  • no, not anywhere. most of the time mushrooms will grow from a pile of excriment from some animal. or they grow on somthing that is decaying and moist all the time.

  • everywhere in britain liberty caps grow middle till the end of october just before the winter frosts start. a nice misty morning after a few days of heavy rain down the local cow field on your hands and knees always does the job. look on the grass verges around trees gently peel back the tufts of grass once your eyes in you will see them everywhere. if you want to fuck your head up and see things eat around 100 mushrooms to chill out eat around 40
