To be honest probably not, most of the jobs immigrants take are low wage/crappy jobs that no one would want to do EVER. I highly doubt that they would want todo they jobs.

sure they will. is a job is not easily filled then the job value goes up the pay gets higher and the workers will come. Of course this will raise the cost of food. Every job is paid at it value. Once you get past the skill required to do the job it is then pure supply and demand.

I work for a large winery in Virginia. I asked the head wine maker during a tour of the vines (it's harvest time) if he thought many were undocumented. He said all were illegal - about 2 to 3 dozen. But they worked their asses off from sun up til sun down. They make a decent wage - about $10 to $13 an hour - it's based on how many grapes they bring in. Most end up making about $200 a day or $1,000 per week. That's a hell of a lot more than I would have thought, But still, NO American is going to work that hard in the field for 12 hours a day.

What is wrong with LEGAL immigrants? Does breaking the law give them some sort of gift to be able to do jobs that people who have immigrated legally cannot do? The natural supply and demand effect which is one of the beauties of capitalism would take effect. This would benefit the people who do the type of work you speak of.
