  • Sounds like it could be ADD or ADHD. I have adult ADHD and those are my smptoms when not on medication for it. You should really talk to a psychiatrist about this, and see whats up.
  • If you are feeling depressed at all, it very well could be BiPolar disorder. But you should see a doc.
  • just to give more info, my racing thoughts are most severe during the night time. I can only manage to get a few hours of sleep a night because my mind is always somewhere else. my heart tends to beat faster and i run short of breath and usally use my inhaler to help relax myself. During the day i switch from feeling lethargic to wanting to jump all over, which usally happens when I talk or around friends. Either way, my head is always spinning with these random thoughts of say things ive done in the morning, what i watched on tv the night before, what color shirt the person on the bus next to me was wearing etc. Its all so stressful and hope someone knows what can cause all of this
  • BEFORE considering that you may have some sort of made up mental disorder, you should consider if you are drinking or eating anything with caffeine in it everyday, if you take vitamins, or if you get out of the house often for fresh air and exercise.
  • First thing, talk to a doctor, it could be a number of things. Have you had any emotional trauma in the past? Are you under a lot of stress? I've got many of the symptoms you are describing. It could be a combination of things. I'm seeing a doctor to resolve these issues. In my case it's a combination of PTSD, situational depression, anxiety, and Hyper Awareness. I'm taking some meds that are helping. The big thing is to see a doctor.
  • My first thought is Bi-Polar disorder. http://www.mentalhelp.net/poc/view_doc.php?id=457&type=doc&cn=Bipolar%20Disorder My second is adult ADD/ADHD. http://www.helpguide.org/mental/adhd_add_adult_symptoms.htm Best course of action: Check out home remedies, maybe herbal, but definitely eating well and exercising along with meditation, maybe some yoga. Next, be checked out by a counselor/psychiatrist/psychologist. Keep your mind open, you may have to try several things over weeks/months to make things better.
