  • I don't get to eat it often but it is usually very good. Sadly, I haven't had any in 5 years that was authentic Indian but you are in for a treat if you decide to have some though.
  • I have had it a couple of times, an Indian guy I worked with quite a few years ago brought it in to me. I thought it was hot but very good. (I guess it was real Indian food, he made it?) I don't remember the name of it.
  • Yes frequrntly and it is one of the best and certainly one of the most varied cuisines in the world. Every area and it is enormous has a different way of cooking. You can imagine the variety when there are over 100 different languages in the country (not dialects, languages) Indian cuisine is more popular in the UK than any other ethnic food.
  • I love it!
  • Yes, it's very good!

  • Quite a few of my closish friends are Indian and come from quite traditional homes. So yeah, I've tasted Indian food when their mother's have made it. It is very good, though nothing like what a lot of the Indian restaurants serve. The restaurants don't seem to sell the really authentic stuff most of the time. Most of it is vegetarian, so it's handy for me. Indian food is probably one of my favourite types of food.
  • Yes...and it is so very tasty...although I've not found any place here in PA that serves real Indian Food! Odd since there is rather a thriving Indian population here!
  • I've had it served to me my Indian friends and I can cook very good Indian food, too, including a few different breads which really are so necessary to a proper Indian meal. Gotta have something to scoop stuff up with. Have to have a curry, raita, dal, and bread, minimum.
  • You have generalised the name as Indian food. India is a big Country with various food habits according to the region. Indian Vegetarian Dishes are very good. You have thousands of varieties in them to satisfy every taste. Most parts of India Rice forms the basic food. But in North and north east Wheat is the basic food. For an european tongue Indian food may be little spicy and hot. Please try once and you will love it.
  • Well I am Indian and I cook it almost every day for my husband and he never tires of it. His non indian friends love to come round our house to eat!
  • I love it. The spices always interest me. I am never bored when I eat Indian food. If you love spice and surprises, it is something to try.
  • i love it. [you're referring to not native american i'm assuming] i've only tried from the southern style though [different areas regions have different styles within themselves] but i like the spices and the names that are fun to learn to pronounce and the meat - lamb is AMAZING =D and i love spicy food anyways

  • Yes. I ate a lot of Indian food while I was in India, but trying to find anything similar to it where I live can be challenging. The best Indian food I have found in the U.S. is at a restaurant in Pontiac Michigan called Rangooli. (i don't think i spelled that right, but it is almost 2 am - please forgive me). The smell of the aloo poori made me think I was back in India and I swear I could see exactly where I was the last time I ate it there.
  • Its spicy and oily but it tastes great. The varieties of unleavened brads available is mind boggling.

  • Yes, it's good, but if you eat it often people can smell it coming out of your pores because the spices are so strong.
  • well, I don't know....I got into a debate with someone saying that you cannot get authentic Indian food in the USA....sigh...his words, not mine,..so I don't really know if I have had any....since I have never been to India. BUT having said that, I love: lamb curry, vegetable biryani, naan, aloo gobi, dal, curry potatoes, butter chicken, and any type of vindaloo. I just made an Indian feast for a baby shower I am attending today....so good. Mine is not real hot, either.
