  • here is a list of some games that will run smoothly on 8400 gs -call of duty series, half life 2 series, call of juarez, call of cthulhu, medal of honor series, jericho, nfs series only up to carbon, farcry, bioshock, stranglehold, rainbow six series including the new one rb 6 v2, and most of the games that was released in and before 2006. here are some games that won't run smooth but at least you will be able to play with low res and no effects -lost planet extreme condition, gears of war , nfs pro street, crysis, blacksite , assasins creed(very bad), gothic 3.yet these games will run considerably well if you've got at least 2 GB of RAM.I think it will be ok to get an 8400 gs if you can't afford more. but i recommend you try at least for an 8500 gt, because 8400 is not made for games.
  • No, maybe a Geforce 9600Gt and then you have the gaming level, Geforece 8400gs is usally used for HTPC
  • Cutting out all the jargo i agree with Leon get a 8500gt or above for the gaming laddie or get very dissapointed!

  • recently i bought xfx nvidia geforce 8400se 512mb still i couldn't play properly as it is jorkry ehile playing
  • No It Is Not. I used to have it, and my computer actually crashed and had to be sent to the computer store for repair more than 10 times because that card couldnt handle any games i played, not even battle field 2. and the very day i got a new one my computer stopped crashing. Dont get this card, and dont suggest it to anyone. i lost thousands of dollars over it. it looks really bad when your playing anyway. If you want one that is good, get a 8800gt If you want something that OWNS ps3 and xbox360, get 9800GTX. Hope This Helps.
