  • I think this is a load of political nonsense and it is done in VERY bad taste with no respect for the poor people who died or the millions of other people who were effected by those terrible events!
  • I think he's a politician, and politicians of all parties will say anything they think will improve their chances of getting elected.
  • Political Posturing.
  • The GOP was in charge when America was attacked on September 11, 2001, yet they try to put some mythical 9/11 on the Democrats. This statement in fear-mongering and manupaltion of the worse kind, another proof that Guiliani is unfit for our highest office. Terrorist attacks against America are likely because of many reasons, some beyond the control of the U.S. For example, America's neo-colonial policies going back to before the Spanish-American War have sown seeds of deep resentment toward the U.S. JFK started the Peace Corps and the Lunar Space Program. We need a president with similar vision and courage, and none of the Republicans fit this bill.
  • Complete nonsense. Would-be terrorists cannot tell the difference between a Rep and a Dem. Until a party which will pull all troops and support out of Saudi, and which will tell Irael to get lost, appear, they will regard all Americans as the same. Since both of those propositions are non-nos across the whole scale of US politics, Muslim terrorists wiil continue to target the US. And I see no reasobn why Reps should be better at terroist prevention than Dems: if anything, the Dems will have a slightly more open mind than the Reps to what the terrorists are really thinking and spend the money in the right places rather than the wrong. At the moment the Reps are armour plating the front door while leaving the kitchen window open.
  • I think.....that was a dumb statement.
  • That's right up there on my list of " the stupidest things I've ever heard". There was a Republican IN THE WHITE HOUSE when the 9/11 attacks happened. They couldn't stop it then, so why do they suddenly have some insight into stopping ANOTHER attack that the Democrats don't have? Of course he's going to say that in an attempt to get himself elected. The real question is: How many people are stupid enough to believe him?
  • no matter whos in office another attack could happen because most havent learned from the first that, yes it can happen. we all need to understand that we cah be attack again
  • I think he has a HUGE ego with nothing to back it. The statement makes him look like a moron. We have one of those already - we sure as heck don't need another one.
  • I think he is right, everyone understands that the terrorists can't wait that the republicans should loose, and i hope they will keep waiting for at least another 8 years.
  • Sure, the Republicans will probably make a deal with the terrorists, so they can discredit the Democrats, if they are the ones that win!
  • I think that he's right!
  • I think similar claims by others are equally dubious.
  • I think his claims of clairvoyance are highly exaggerated.
  • I think I smell bullsh**.
  • I couldn't believe that he actually had the nerve to say that...If anything, the Republicans have weakened us tremendously, and have left us vulnerable to an attack. The Republicans don't have a corner on the market of domestic security, Giuliani is a foul-tempered bully, and his wacky 3rd wife looks like The Runaway Bride. His own kids won't talk to him.
  • I think I will have to change all of my personal views and ethics and run out and vote for him!! He is Mr. Family values after all!
  • I think he is playing with his pee pee
  • Personally, I think this is rubbish. And I'm also quite tired of Giuliani running his entire campaign based on his "hero work" done after 9/11. Unfit, with a capital U.
  • Is that a threat, or a promise?
  • I think the rest of the world is facing another massive terrorist attack from America if either get in.
  • My first question "are you serious"
  • I think that explains why Giuliani is no longer a candidate, even in his own party.
  • I agree with him. Historically, since the Carter Administration, Democrats have been soft on terrorism.
  • Giuliani is a self serving political hack who woudn't know what to do if the elevator got stuck - let alone if a "terrorist" spit in face. The man is a baffoon.
  • I totally agree with the top answer (anonymous on 10 October). 1/. There WAS a Republican President when 9/11 attacks happened. 2/. Al Quaeda terrrorists don't care wether it is Republican or a Democrate in office. They just follow their crazy track. On top of everything, Democrats have a more open mind and better understanding of the international scene. See Im Alec's answer on 10 Oct. 3/. He just uses this very sensitive argument, careless of the ones who died and suffered, to serve his cause. How many will go for that ?
  • Well, he certainly did a great job of anticipating and stopping the attack on September 11, 2001 now, didn't he? What a giant pile of dookie!
